How to integrate Link G4+ ECU with HTG tuning GCU using preset.
HTG tuning GCU has build in preset for Link G4+ ECU. Link does not have default CAN stream that fits so it needs to be configured by end-user in Link software. GCU can bus preset is available since 1.0.16 FW version.
Suggested settings allow using FUEL-model GCU torque calculation strategy which is recommended for a CLOSED LOOP shifting method.
Link G4+ does not accept incoming GCU signals over CAN bus so analog signals to the ECU have to be wired in. Below photos show Link settings as follows:
CAN bus assignment and speed can be done according to user needs but need to be the same on GCU and Link side.
Below photo shows which parameters are used by Link-GCU suggested preset. While using preset there is no need to configure them manually. Stream Base ID should be set to 600(hex) in GCU and 1536(dec) and 1537(dec) in Link G4+.
