GCU can control reverse light signal when in R mode.
It is possible to trigger reverse light when switching into REVERSE mode. GCU can trigger this signal via AN_out (analog), PWR_out or via CAN bus.
Desired object has to be assigned to REVERSE LIGHT OUTPUT in Shift+A (IO assignments) tab.
PWR_out: Unless using low draw LED bulb please make sure to use relay to switch on reverse light by the GCU. Using 4 pin relay is probably the easiest way. Terminal 30 goes to Battery + Terminal 87 goes to reverse light + Terminal 85 signal ground. Can be permanent if 86 is trigger. Terminal 86 signal +. Can be permanent is trigger. Trigger wire has to be connected to PWR_out. High (+) or low (gnd) trigger can be switched (inverted) in SUITE. Default output side is LOW (gnd), inverted side is HIGH (+).
CAN bus message or AN_out signal can be used to trigger external controller to light up reverse signal.
