Step by step guide how to add mode selection.
Adding inputs #
Depending what kind of input your selector/paddles are connected add ADC, Digital or Can Input.
If using ADC or CAN use GCU Linearization to set value on 1024 when active and add time filtering. For digital inputs only enable time filtering.

Assign your inputs in General Settings #
Fill the Gearbox Mode Transition table #
Transition table allows You to configure what mode will be engaged after receiving specific signal while being in any mode.
For example, what will happen when in drive mode given reverse signal ? We want it to be in neutral. So we select accordingly on the table. When using paddles or sequential shifter some signals are impossible to obtain like park or neutral as we operate only on drive and reverse, so first two rows are the only ones to change./HTG/img/Mode_selection_3.PNG)
