GCU has user defined limits that increase setup usage security.
Setting those parameters is highly recommended prior to any driving attempts!
Having those parameters unset leaves the setup vulnerable to unexpected actions caused by for example wiring failures due to shorts or accidental user demands!

Unfortunately engines usually cannot rev as high as we’d love them to, so we have to protect them from over-revving. - Gearbox mode transition requirements
It is possible to define conditions that have to be met in order to allow GCU to change gearbox mode. This table composition works very similar to Mode transitions table. Multiple conditions can be selected at same time.
